sorry, but this is an excuse......you can say the same about any clean punch that lands...........temple shots WILL wobble you.........but this one wobbled cotto very badly...........and had corley been patient......he could've done more damage..........if he gets caught on the temple by margs, say good night irene..........

Marg was never hurt like Cotto was against Corely pillow hands and Torres homay.

He was hurt against Santos and has gone down three times in his career.

Even with these supposed injuries to Margarito,what you fail to see is the many holes in Margarito's game, Clottey exploited them until he hurt his hand. Cotto is a more powerfull all around fighter than Clottey,he has better stamina, more heart and determination. He will not stop throwing like Clottey did and he will do waht Clottey did until Margarito goes down.

Styles make fights right?...Torres was a last minute replacement for Cotto..So he didn't train for this dude..nor knew who the **** this dude was..on top of that..he wasn't even knocked downed...he was stunned..and got shoved down..and we all saw the both gloves drive Cotto to the Canvas right?...And on Top of that!!..

Just ike in KP vs JT 1 Margs hands will be too heavy late in the fight for Cotto. Cotto fades late and we all know that
Margs will throw about 100 punches per round and in the 10 or 11th Cotto goes down like JT and the fight is over.

The Pavlik vs JT fight will nowhere near be what Cotto vs Marg will be. Taylor couldn't defend Pavlik's jab all night which set up Pav's straight rights down the middle. Margarito doesn't even use his height advantage by throwing the jab to set up hooks or straight rights. Cotto has the advantage on the inside with the shorter arms that will land to the body before Margarito can throw his wide hooks and lunging uppercuts.

Footwork, speed, power, boxing ability = Cotto win...and in easier fashion than most skeptics are making it to be.

People seem to be drawing the line too far apart on this fight.
Cotto is clearly the more well rounded, talented fighter.
Margarito is big, strong and tough as hell.
Either man can win this fight. Im picking Cotto, but that doesnt mean either man cant win.

i agree, and not only that...........neither side will admit that their fighter has flaws...........margs is a two fisted puncher with power in either hand.........but he lacks speed............but he isn't real slow...........cotto lacks a big right hand..........and has suspect defense and chin.........but he can box..........i see cotto doing well early.........but not really doing any damage........and i see margs just pushing along until he wears cotto out...........
