For the 1st four round Clottey was ******ing Margie and exposing him with PRECISE counter punches as well as doubles & triples when he would drop his defensive...Margie was so wide, so wide and easy to hit.

Clottey hurt his hand and that why he lost period. You see against bums and 2nd tier fighter like Cintron, Margie will always look good.

But against ELITE like Floyd & Cotto, they will expose his lack of basic fundamentals of boxing.

People seem to be drawing the line too far apart on this fight.
Cotto is clearly the more well rounded, talented fighter.
Margarito is big, strong and tough as hell.
Either man can win this fight. Im picking Cotto, but that doesnt mean either man cant win.

Margarito fears nobody. He passed on Cotto last year because he got 1.7 million to fight Paul Williams. Nobody cares about Clottey and he'd have to fight him three times to make that much. He beat Clottey with a bad wrist that needed surgery while Clottey was whining in his corner between every round about his bruised hand. I respect Clottey as a good fighter, but he had his chance against Tony and he failed. He's getting a chance against Judah to be a player again.

How can anyone think that Margarito can beat Cotto is beyond me. Margarito's defense is horrible he can't slip a punch and his body completely open. He squares himself up when he throws combinations and can easily be countered. He is slow and throws a lot of punches with nothing on them.

Clottey beat him the **** out of him for the first four rounds and Margarito/Cotto is going to look like the third round over and over again until Margarito can't take no more and goes down.

Clottey was very underrated going into the Margarito fight, He has good handspeed and his tough as they come. Margarito/Cotto is a clash of styles unlike Margarito/Clottey.

watching two year old fights and putting it to present time gets you not too mention margarito was coming off a long layoff. Just to show you how flush someone can land and it doesnt even effect margarito. I just finished watching the cotto vs torres fight and how anyone thinks that cotto can handle margarito's pressure is beyond me

Margarito had ONE fight in 15 months going into the Clottey fight. THAT one fight was a ONE MINUTE destruction of Manuel Gomez.. he was RUSTY homay.

not to mention the ankle injry that almost caused the Clottey fight to get cancelled just two weeks prior.

Marg was never hurt like Cotto was against Corely pillow hands and Torres homay.
