I agree Chad Dawson is the toughest matchup out there for Calzaghe right now, but I have to ask in what universe Joe Calzaghe is required to prove he is better than Chad Dawson? I'm thinking an American one, because in the real world it is absolutely the other way around.

Bernard Hopkins is the strongest of the current light heavies having beaten Tarver, the second strongest, for the title. It is possible that Chad Dawson might actually have it in him to have beaten Tarver and Hopkins but at this moment has neither done so, nor done anything to really suggest that he can, having struggled to beat Glen Johnson.

You cannot just say that Chad Dawson is the best LHW without any actual evidence to back up your claim. If he was then I would be all for a Calzaghe - Dawson fight, but right now he is below both Hopkins and Tarver on my LHW ranking, until he proves otherwise.
