..The Most HYPOCRITICAL **** On The Board...

What do you think it is?

I'll start off and say that I HATE when a person can defend ANY loss of their favorite fighter.. (He was out of his prime, not at his natural weight, ate too much seafood, WHATEVER THEY CAN FIND). But then, when that same favorite fighters wins what ends up being a fight that was a mismatch.. (The opponent was faded, too green, had a three year layoff), they act as if excuses are not allowed on THIS FORUM!

    Abso-****ing-lutely, hate it.

    What about you guys?

People who whine about losses when their fighter loses is fine...

The ones who whine when it ends in a KO/TKO though is a different story.
When people make fun of other fighters losses but get defensive when their fighter loses is really hypocritical. Especially when they lose by KO/TKO because there's nothing to discuss; there was no bad decision. However, Tye Fields' loss to Jeff Ford does not apply; that's literally the only time you can complain about a "supposed" KO loss.

When someone criticises a boxer for not having fought top opposition, but then 5 minutes later are acting like it's a good thing that a highly-rated fighter has turned them down.

When someone is fighting their favourite boxer, people tend to try and make that guy look like a bad fighter who is clearly inferior to their favourite boxer, but then after the fight they suddenly act as if it was a great win and their opponent was a great fighter.

I hate people who were led to believe that Tye Fields lose was for real.

Floyd haters who say that he has faced no quality opponents (and especially knock his resume after leaving 135), but picked many fighters to beat him. The same happens with Cotto haters.

Bernard Hopkins fans who picked him to beat Calzaghe, and after he lost they criticize Joe for beating a 43 year-old.

Cotto fans who say he will upset Margarito's pressure with his superior boxing skill, but also say that Cotto's pressure will nullify Floyd's superior boxing skill if they ever fought.

Hatton fans who picked him to beat Floyd and said that he did poorly against Collazo because he was too heavy, but then refuse to give Floyd credit for the victory because Hatton was coming from 140.

The double standard people hold to opposition's records or competition. It generally is in relation to supposed opponents being ducked or ducking opponents.

When one fighter is constantly trashed for disrespecting other fighters and trash talking and another is doing the same thing and is called 'charismatic'.

Cotto fans making fun of the likes of Judah for being wobbled in fights.

When Cotto has done equally as humiliating maneuvers in the ring.

It's not that clear cut though. You can have hasty stoppages, especially in situations where fighter A has had fighter B reeling in the previous round but as soon as fighter A eats a few clean punches the referee waves it off declaring B as the winner. Or if a fighter is worn down late in a fight to be stopped but was prevented from being effective early in the fight therefore leaving them vulnerable.

Sure you can be robbed on the card but you can also be set up by the referee.

PS I like the writing in white, good k to you sir.

Calzaghe himself and his fans bad mouthing everything Bernard Hopkins stood for before the fight happened, then after he won they phraise Calz for beating him.
Exactly the same when Floyd fans did this to Hatton.

It's pretty common in Boxing and this probably annoys me the most.
