It's pretty common in Boxing and this probably annoys me the most.

When I was doing it I was trying to put the Hophuggers' own comments into perspective. All we had on here for months was "LUL Calfa.ggy is a preotected yourobum an Hopkins iz a leg end!!111" and I and others like me put it in perspective by making direct comparisons between Joe's and Bernard's careers. Essentially the main difference between the two was that one guy fought in the US. They both spent their time in their back yards. Hophuggers delighted in bringing up Tocker Pudwill, but when asked about Andrew Council would immediately defend him as a "decent fighter".

The double standard people hold to opposition's records or competition. It generally is in relation to supposed opponents being ducked or ducking opponents.

this is a critical one right here. this is why time is always the judge of boxers, because years from now, it wont matter who ducked who. Imagine if boxingscene existed when leonard ducked pryor, this board would explode.
