Pac opening doors for Pinoys in MMA as well?

I don't understand why you guys put such an emphasis on Pacquiao opening doors for other Filipinos.

I'm sure the parents of Pinoys here in the U.S. struggled much harder than Pacman to get where they are today than he did to get where he is! Your parents should be your inspiration!

It's good to look to all nationalities for inspiration other than just your own. I never new Brandon Vera was Pinoy till I read this thread and am still a fan of his with or without that knowledge and I am not Pinoy. I am pretty sure Vera would be doing what he does even if there never was a Pacman.

I'm not saying that they wouldn't be doing what they doing but both munoz and vera have sighted PAC as a influence. In particular munoz who said in an interview that he had to think about going into mma but faber egged him on and he claimed he wants to do for pinoys in mma what pacquiao did for pinoys in boxing. You can't say PAC wasnt a tiny bit involved on his decision to join mma. Maybe opening doors was the wrong statement but influencing Pinoys into going into boxing or MMA is undeniable...Opening doors for Asians in Boxing for sure.

How is that nuthugging. I have read both fighters sighting pacquiao as an inspiration. Since PAC showed up you didn't even know what a philippine flag looked like. Now we even see them being waved in Mma events. Coincidence? I'm just pointing out that Pac MAY HAVE had a role in this. MAY HAVE. How is that hugging when Im just noticing coincidences involving the mentioned influence of pacquiao. I think your over sensitive in your assertion of nuthuggerism. I guess the mention of pacs name in here has to be used with extreme caution lest you be branded a nuthugger.

Hey hey hey, if anybody has gotten riled up by Hector's comments in the past you can look my sn up and tell me about it. You just got to come and realize that the dude has a history of owning himself... The dude is hurting Mexicans more than he is Pinoys with his comments...Dude claims to be Mexican to the detriment of Mexicans.
