Born in Teresa, Rizal Province in Philippines in 1974, moved here in the US in 1987. Yeah, i know what the Philippine flag looks like. I heard of Pacquiao before he came to fight in the US. Heard of Navarete when i was 9-10 years old, staying up late to watch his fight. In high school here in LA, me and my friends by Pinoy magazine from a store(near Vermont and Melrose) to know whats going on PBA, boxing, and international games(SEA or Asian Games).

Thats cool man... I may nuthug but wasnt really trying to. Honest opinion and curiosity as to why this phenomenon of Pinoys on TV, mma or boxing are now more prevelant in the U.S. as well as dudes claiming to be Pinoy reppin the flag since Packy... Your pretty much Pinoy then Loui... PBA, haha thats hard core pinoy...

Uhh...nope. There are actually alot of filipino kickboxers, myself included. There's even a native martial art that's a different type of kickboxing. Read up on it. Its the fighting style matt damon uses in the bourne identity movies. Just because of the rise of mma doesnt mean that muay thai is the only dominant kickboxing style. They're all over the place. I seen a french guy own a muay thai guy with french kickboxing with just kicks after he got both his arms broken by the thai dude.

Never knew about Filipino kick boxing.. I lived there and grew up in the P.I. till I was 15-16 but only heard of Escrima, Arnis, Kali as the local M.A.. I always thought basketball was the reason Pinoys have big legs LOL. That is a revelation to me...
