Are you sure? According to this chart I might have been underestimating the amount of viewers who tunes into Cotto/Gomez.The 2.1 is a cable rating, which represents fewer households than a network rating.
Also 1 household does not equal 1 viewer.

There's no excuse for Floyd not to face the Cotto-Marg winner. **** how much their PPV does or whichever one wins. If he really considers himself the WW champ he'll prove it against the July winner after he beats DLH again.Comment

HBO, Showtime, and the like will scale different because they don't have the same penetration as standard cable since they are premium channels. Are you sure? According to this chart I might have been underestimating the amount of viewers who tunes into Cotto/Gomez.

For market penetration?
"Between the first quarter of 2006 and the end of 2007, HBO has grown from 28.2 million subscribers to 28.9, according to SNL Kagan, while Showtime’s subscriber counts increased from 14.5 million to 15.5 million and The Movie Channel expanded from 14.5 million to 16.6 million."
"The #1 network in basic cable, USA Network is seen in nearly 94 million U.S. homes."

"Unlike the ratings for the broadcast networks, which measure households in a national sample, the cable ratings for a channel will reflect only how its shows do among households that happen to get that channel, or what is referred to as the channel's coverage area."

Premium cable channels have far less coverage than the standard cable channels so they scale differently. IOW, the 2.1 for HBO (premium) represents fewer less households (and in turn viewers) than a 2.1 would on USA (basic/standard).Comment
