I don't think he dove. I think he was looking for a way out and told himself he couldn't get up for that moment, when he really could've. It was all mental

Oscar was on his way to be being knocked out at the time of the stoppage and that body shot was pin point. I don't think that he took a dive. Hopkins was landing at will and was starting to walk Oscar down. If the body shot didn't do it, then he would have been knocked out with a head shot.

The body shot didn't look too powerful but if a person gets hit in the right place even if the punch isn't very powerful can lead to a knockout.

That wasn't a dive, Oscar just can't take it to the body.

              I don't think so, no.

Oscar devoted his entire life to training and succeeding in the ring. I don't think that he would be willing to risk his legacy and reputation by intentionally losing a fight. I also think that, as much as DLH cares about money, he has enough that he surely values career success over whatever financial benefit there would be to losing to Hopkins.

No it wasn't. Why the hell would you yell out "BODYSHOT! BODYSHOT!" if it was a setup? Well technically you are asking if it was a dive, so no it wasn't.

However I do think he could have possibly gotten up. He was done though. Oscar was competitive, but it still puzzles me when people had him ahead on the scorecards.

He's a good diver but terrible actor, could not sell it off. Who the hellp punches the mat so many times and so hard after eating a liver shot. The slower reaction is ok, cause it has happened but the selling job was terrible.
