Fraizer, It actualy got more effective as his career went on because he actualy LOST sight in his left eye, Thus he had to rely on his left hook more to keep people from circling to his left where he obvuously couldnt see them

I was going to pick Frazier but decided to go with Tyson. I guess because I've seen a lot more Tyson fights than Frazier. If he caught you with the left, Good ****ing Night!

did you see any Tommy Morrison fights? if you didnt i posted some in the begining of the thread you might wanna check em out

i could understand how some people may lean towards tyson cuz he's a far bigger name and a fan's favourite. im a fan myself, but even i cant dismiss morrison's left hook. Trust me, Morrison might be the hardest punching left hooker out of all those mentioned in the poll, even if was his only best punch.

Both Tyson and Morrison had great hooks. That just wasn't their sunday-punch. Both of them also packed a big wallop in the right as well.

He did hit Rocky Balboa with a few good left hooks. J/K

I really haven't seen many Morrison fights. I will check them out later when I get out of work.

The top three Joe Frazier, Tommy Morrison and Mike Tyson.

I'd pick Fraziers hook, i think his left hook was more hidden then the rest.

edit: as for more powerfull left hook? I haven't seen enough of everybody but i'd say Tysons hook?

i agree battheman but imo morrison was a much more devastating puncher with his hook. I mean mike could destroy people with his left, and he was a better all around puncher than morrison, he had a great right hand, as well as the uppercut, but he wasnt as consistent with it as tommy was. plus tyson also focused his attack on bodypunching more than tommy did

mike showed the ability to murder opponents as he had with journeyman. remember how he broke sammy scaff's nose, or how he made richardson fly off? that's power

but tommy literally killed people with his left. it's a matter of opinion of course but morrison could really take your health with his hook
