Mine was definitely the Katsidis/Casamayor fight. I was very happy there was finally another good Aussie fighter worth cheering on. When he was down twice in the first I was stunned but kind of "Oh, ok, well, that's that I guess.", but, when he came back to take over the fight and start putting a beatdown on Casamayor...****e, the whole room was gong nuts...then his corner ****ed the whole thing up by giving him such dreadful advice, then he got KO'd!

I was in an absolute mess about half an hour later. Man, did I hit the booze hard after that. Highly depressing. Especially as he came back and looked like he was going to KO Casa but then lost so ******ly! We'll see if he can come back good against Chavez.

Probably the other one was when I was little. Jeff Fenech getting robbed against Nelson. Did everything but KO him and still only got a draw?!?! That was my first taste of boxing's magnificent and magical corruption!

JCC vs Meldrick Taylor. I still get angry thinking about that fight sometimes. I was so ****ing pissed when Steele stopped it, I ****ing punched a hole in my uncles living room closet door.

for me, it was the wladimir klitschko/sanders fight. then i read about how wlad was unprepared, didn't study his opponent, and had his mind on some girl for after the fight.

the klitschko/brewster 1 fight fight would've been included except i honestly told my peeps as the entrances were happening that something ws wrong already. i still feel that wlad got cheated. in fact i would say that there was a 98% or higher chance he got ****ed in that fight. and it wasn't by a looping left from brewster that didn't even put wladimir down.

tszyu vs hatton also was a mood damper. gotta love the influence the decision makers(refs, judges for example) had on that fight. actually, it was mostl the ref since he let hatton have his way completely, even not counting a knickdown and an intentional low blow by ricky which is supposed to warrent an automatic pint deduction. wft???

Diego Corrales' last fight. I knew he was never going to be the same man after his Castillo fights, but I didn't realize it had taken that much out of him. At that point, I knew he was finished in the ring, and I think he did too.

And Chris Byrd's last fight, at light heavy, too. The guy's taken too many hard shots, and put his body through too much, I think. It saddened me, seeing how slow he was at that weight. He's lost too much muscle mass, coming down that far, and should've went to cruiser and stayed there, or just retired.

For sure a sad sad day.

I was there and when he got knocked down I literally turned my back to the ring and looked down at my seat. I didint turn around for a good 3 or 4 minutes. I just didnt want to believe it.

I never heard it so silent in Boardwalk Hall.

Ooo yes, that was a very sad day at my place. Hatton? Of all people, it had to be Hatton? Christ, I still can't watch that fight. Just too depressing. Hatton's been ****e ever since as well which just makes it that much worse. At least Tszyu was his classy self though afterwards.
