Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather (I was a big Ricky fan that night for some reason), David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli (Because he was blown out) and Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley.

Chavez v. Whitiker. Every fight after that didn't matter as much in the really emotionally stunned sense.

Chavez v. Wise. I have this fight and to this day i can't watch the whole fight.

Otis Grant v. Quincy Taylor. Wow! un****enbelivable. is what i thought at the time.

(A hook from prime Barrera is worse.)

Seems to be lots of young boxing fans here.

The Hatton vs Mayweather one was tough, just because of how much I wanted Hatton to win, but it was bittersweet because it helped give me a lot of respect for Mayweather.

The worst for me was Holyfield beating Tyson the first time. I was a huge Tyson fan, he was always my favourite. Waiting for him to return from prison felt like it took a whole lifetime and I so desperately wanted to see him dominant and back to his best. For a while it looked like he might have been. So waiting up til about 4 in the morning, paying the PPV and eagerly anticipating a comfortable Tyson victory against a bloody good opponent, only to see Tyson out-classed didnt just sink my ship because of his loss, but also because I knew that he'd never be able to recapture what he once was. Its probably the most depressed that I've ever been over a sporting event.

Based on your profile, I'm older than you, but haven't been seriously into boxing for that long at all.

Yeah me too. Even though Im not a huge fan of Gatti I always looked forward to his fights and respected him for the warrior he was. It was just hard to see him get beat up badly by Gomez and then afterword in the locker room when he was with his family and friends and seeing the look on his face. I seriously about came to tears. Just seeing a man that had given it everything he had for the sport and knowing that he was done, it was hard to watch.

I'm feeling you with the Mayweather vs Hatton fight, I remeber thinking WOW, Mayweather is for real, he's damn good...

After 6-7 rounds Mayweather was just setting Ricky up with peach right hand leads.

Like lot of guys are saying Taylor Pavlik 2. I was rooting for Taylor since the day after the first fight and really thought he would do it. And he came so close, and to see his reaction afterwards was tough. I think even Larry Merchant felt for him in that interview.

Hatton Mayweather was tough yeah. The whole fight was surreal, because I'd met Ricky at a fight just a few weeks before and he talked about what he was going to do for the fight. Seeing him out like that was tough.

Corrales and Clottey kinda had me down, to see Diego taking those hard, hard shots.

Mosley losing to Cotto. I was convinced Mosley would win. I scored that fight a draw, and to hear it go to Cotto had me down.

Oh yeah and Gatti-Gomez. I came on here and said something I regret after that fight I was so pissed. lol

I wanted KP to win the first fight, but the second fight, I wanted Jermain to win SO BAD. But o'well. And talking about Ricky and Floyd,
My friend doesnt know **** about boxing, but he loves it. And he is a big Ricky fan. He doesnt know ****, but in his mind he wants Hatton vs Pavlik. I told him it would NEVER happen because Pavlik fights 20 lbs. higher. He said, 20 lbs. aint ****, I think Ricky can take him. Like I said he doesnt know ****, but his favorites are Floyd, Ricky, and Juan Diaz.
