Calzaghe via UD easy fight! I like Pavlik but he can't beat Joe.

Still having only 1 fight at light heavyweight may not hurt him as bad so i still see Calzaghe beaint Pavlik. Arum should be ashamed of himself but i guess he's just trying to make his money back on his evestment.
Even if Pavlik loses I don't think losing to the SMW + LHW champ will hurt his career too much. It's not like it would be shameful. He'll still beat everyone at SMW except maybe Kessler.

IMO Roy has a shot at beating Joe, but that's my heart talking to be honest. My head still says Joe UD to that fight as well.
I'm telling you man, when you made that list it was just some weird Freudian transference **** where you wanted to be on it yourself. Don't deny the truth!

Of course! How can you be a nuthugger if you won't risk it all?

            Agree on Dawson too.

I just watched the first few rounds of Kelly Pavlik vs Jermain Taylor 2 and I noticed already Kelly Pavlik's power did no carry as much as he would hope at 166.

Kelly Pavlik looked VERY flat footed against Taylor and relied on his jab over Taylor's low left hand, Calzaghe beat Kessler by using his faster southpaw jab and I think it will be the same here. I don't think it's fair to compare Kessler and Pavlik because Pavlik takes shots needlessly and comes forward while Kessler is a clever counter puncher.

Dawson is a great fighter. He throws tremendous combinations to the body and has quite a bit of pop. He's still a bit rough around the edges but at 25 he has got a long way to go.

I think the main thing he needs to do now is keep his hands up a little more and manage the distance a bit better when moving in and out of exchanges but that comes with experience.

I like the banter, and i made nearly 20,000pts off that thread.

Am a big Joe Calzaghe fan, don't get it twisted.

Yep. I think he'd be by far Joe's hardest fight right now, my main concern with Dawson is that in his biggest fight so far, Johnson, he was never able to turn his physical and technical advantages into attacking dominance at any stage, which if he's all he's cracked up to be, he really should have.
