-Calzaghe's punch connects were GROSSLY inaccurate and the punches he did land were for the most part grazing blows during his amateurish looking flurries or light punches while clinching. The man who set up and landed a majority of the clean, effective punches was Hopkins.

-Calzaghe landed jabs against Kessler yet he couldn't land a jab to save his life against Hopkins. He started off, what, 0-35?

-I don't know if Kessler is stronger or bigger than Pavlik. What I do know is that his instinct is to hop backwards when someone presses him. He does it in all his fights.

-Give Taylor a break. Prior to fighting Hopkins he had a great KO percentage. Your criticizing him for not KO'ing Hopkins and Wright who have never been KO'ed in 50 + fights each against world class opposition, Ouma who there is less of an excuse but he's not going to KO everyone, Spinks who ran around the ring like a rabbit the entire night, and Pavlik who also has never been KO'ed.

Pavlik took SEVERAL flush shots in a row before going down against Calzaghe. Calzaghe got put on his ass by a single Hopkins shot and stunned by a single blow from Hopkins at the end of the 7th or 8th round so if we're going to question chins that's something to think about.
Then you don't watch much boxing outside of America.

He landed more shots than Hopkins, thats a fact, end of.

Are you seriously trying to tell me Pavlik is as elusive as Hopkins? Yes, Joe did land jabs against Kessler, but who is Pavlik most compared to? Exactly...

Yes, Kessler moves backwards. But when he tried to move forwards he got PUSHED backwards by Joe. Pavlik may be big and strong for a MW, but Kessler is huge and immensely strong for a SMW. As is Lacy, same thing there. The trouble with Joe's strength is that people assume because he doesn't punch that hard anymore, he is not strong. He doesn't punch that hard because he has brittle hands, and is possibly one of the strongest at 168.

Everyone has a great KO % against bums. What's your point? He still hasn't KO'd anyone half decent, and Pavlik was still on ***** street for a whole round.

That is probably what will happen.

Three things for your last point:
    1) Hopkins has more power than Taylor, and caught Joe with a perfect punch, (all his weight, perfectly timed, on the button, Joe moving forward) but how long did it take Joe to regain his feet?

    2) The wobble you are talking about came mostly from a headbutt, followed by a punch. Joe was wincing before the punch even landed.

    3) Pavlik was hurt, Joe was caught cold.

You do make some good points, but even if you are right, all they do is give Pavlik less chance of being Lacy'ed.

And you're making front of Calzaghe for being dropped by Hopkins when Pavlik was dropped even worse by Taylor. ROFLAMO
Yet Calzaghe is ducking a naturally smaller guy?
