Floyd hasnt fought a top welter since beating Baldo. he has OPNELY stated he didnt want Margarito when he was the #1 welter and now he has openly stated he doesnt want Cotto.

Floyd and Hatton are the same size. The weight they fought at is irrelevant.

Maybe I'm just a strange case, but I was a big Mayweather supporter until the DLH rematch was made. I was of course aware of why exactly some people criticized him, but I still felt like Foyd was proving himself in every fight. But when he makes matches purely for the money, I think it's unrealistic for people to make any kind of excuses.

Floyd had so many more supporters when I first joined this site. So I'd say that he really lost popularity after the DLH fight, regained it a little bit after the Hatton fight, and then completely lost it after the DLH rematch.

if you people knew the climate of this board, there were MANY implications of floyd ducking hatton at 140, floyd 'running' from the undisputed champ in hatton even though hatton himself admitted he wasnt ready, which is why i NEVER thought people would be complaining after he finally took him on that all of the sudden hatton became the "smaller" fighter, when before, hatton was supposed to be the bigger/stronger fighter in terms of overall strength as well as punching power, which proves to me that my theory is right, some of yall really just hop on the next arch enemies nuts until you can finally be right.

puh leas. Floyd beats Hatton at 140 or 147. Hatton already proved with performances against Urhango at 140 and Collazo at 147 he cant beat Floyd.

Floyd fought TWO title eliminators to fight Gatti at 140 then ROLLED out. he opnely said he wanted Zoo to have more fights first cuz he doesnt want excuses due to injuries and has also said he want Zoo to get old like his uncle was so he can beat up Zoo..

POINT IS HE PERSUED GATTI (TWO TITLE ELIMINATORS)....NOT zOO or Hatton.

Floyd ALSO claims he can fight anywhere from 154 to 140 , YET even though Hatton was the king at 140 (AND LEFT 147 CUZ HE WAS CRAP) Floyd wouldNT finish business at 140.......

hatton is a BETTER fighter at 140 then 147. wake up.

honestly i cant say thats the case, that guy has NEVER had alot of support on this board, when he was cleaning out 130/135 he didint have it, at 140 he didint really have it, and at 147/154 he definately doesnt have it.

You are right though, this DLH rematch is a ****ing ******ed sham, but im not going to abandon my support based on that alone, but i wont defend it neither.
