So what if Diaz is all about volume punchineg? Margarito isn't a one hitter either not that it matters, I'm just telling you that there were other 16 year old mexicans who turned pro and didn't lose to guys Cory Spinks whipes his ass with.
You ignored the fact that your boy needs to be a welterweight for the rest of his career in order to even have a chance at winning. He lost to a bigger guy in Williams who Quintana just recently exposed with B+ boxing skills.Comment

How do you supposed Mayweather got so good?
Do you honestly think Mayweather would be as good as he is without an extensive amateur background?
Look at the ten greatest fighters in history... then name me one who didn't have an amateur background.Comment

They shouldn't, and they don't in my book.
Margarito has 2 losses in my eyes... to Santos, which was razor thin on a technical decision (the worst way to lose, especially since Margarito was known as a slow starter), and Williams, who he just started too late against. He beat him up in the later rounds after absorbing "punishment" for the first 6 or so.Comment

This true warrior DWiens421 is the perfect example of a man who can effectively apply "plain and basic common sense"They shouldn't, and they don't in my book.

Margarito didn't start to late against Williams, Williams was just overwhelming him with punch out put. When Williams got tired and Margarito knew he was losing the fight he brought it up a notch.
Williams would beat Margarito in a rematch at 154 (147 maybe not since Williams can't throw as much now)Comment
