Yeah he is overrated. Not too much though.

Just think when he fights Hatton there will be TWO overrated ****s in the ring. and what's even worse is people will still pay to see it!

        Yeah. It was £14.95 ($30)

It will definately be PPV over here. It's a ****ing joke. I watched the fight in the pub last weekend. Hatton was so **** and all the pissed up ****s were screaming and chanting, acting like he's some sort of superstar.

Paulie gets the wins, but I think most of his reputation rests on his performance against Cotto, when he did very well and came as close as anyone else has to beating Miguel.

After seeing that fight I thought Paulie looked like a really good prospect, fast and tough, even if he doesn't have much power. He hasn't really performed as well as that since, I don't think, but its not like people say he's a worldbeater, so no, I don't think he's particularly overrated.

Paulie has not shown what a good boxer HE IS in the last 2 fights, and i expect it to change against Hatton, i think he will have a great performance and beat Hatton by UD! but to say he is overrated is way off the mark!

exactly, he has underperformed but none the less he has still won, and knows he can do much better.

two thing i think that stand in the way of malignaggi's is:
                  1) his right hand- seems injury prone
                  2) Buddy McGirt- no doubt good trainer, put paulie should have stuck with his usual training team, i never get why successful boxers change trainers who know their style and temperement best!

malignaggi has lots of potential, it's really down to him whether he can push himself into the elite.

he's fast... and he can talk and move around any ring like a ballerina...

thats all anyone has ever said... and its all true.. so no realy over hyping done in this situation...

He just lacks power... and thats something people want as a mandatory for any hype in boxing... but its not anymore.

So no theres no over hyping... just the facts when ya dealin with paulie... i mean is he not fast with his hands and feet? and Does he not have alot fo heart? Thats all that has been said.
