I don't think he's overrated... He has a lot of heart and he's a pretty decent boxer. I became a fan of his after the cotto fight. The left side of his body was completely red and his mouth was a g****fruit and he fought to the last second. He gets some credit for that in my book

I think he is a bit overrated but he's a solid guy. I just think his last outings have been subpar. I was VERY surprised with the Ndougjo fight, he looked so vulnerable. I'll tell you one thing though, I think he's a hell of a lot better than Hatton (skill wise).

You mean he doesn't belong in Burner's top 10 p4p?

I think many believe he's overrated because he doesnt provide the knockouts or top competition (with the exception of cotto of course).

I think he's one of the best B+ level BOXERS out there.

He is no elite level fighter and a win over (if. he wins) hatton might be closest he can get to that status.

I think the first fight with ndou is going be his career defining fight.

If you havent seen that fight you should watch it. I think that was the best i've ever seen paulie. He did it all in that fight; fought on the outside (sticking and moving); he fought decently on the inside when ndou would tie him up and he even knocked ndou down.

He basically schooled and outclassed him.

With that said though i dont believe he will ever get over the hump and be an elite fighter headlining ppv cards or anything of that nature.

He's going to be a guy (should he not have too many more injuries to his right hand) who will be headling SHO and HBO (regular SHO/HBO) cards at best for the rest of his career.

I think he gets a little too much buzz but not to the point where he's overrated.

What malignaggi is good for (in my opinion) is his:
                    Pure boxing ability/speed
                    Heart
                    Trash talking...

those 3 things (in my opinion) sum up everything you need to know about paulie malignaggi.
