I had this discussion months ago, I don't think he's elite. I think he's pretty much gone as far as he can with his lack of power and good but not great boxing skills. The interesting part is though, months ago I would have picked Hatton to stomp him, now I'm not so sure. I'd still pick Hatton though because Paulie has nothing to keep him from coming forward. Ndou was just trying to counter and not being nearly active enough, Hatton wouldn't do the same whether he had one hand or two (paulie). I don't think he's a special fighter at all nor does ha have the skills to compete with the elite, which lucky for him skips over the 140 division at this point.

      I don't see where he's overrated?

He must be doing something right to get to where he's at...

I dont think Paulie is overrated, The Italian summed it up in his first post in this thread and i agree with everything he said.

Paulie is my favourite boxer, so its hard to say he is overrated or his poor or whatever or he wont go any furthur.

But if Paulie beats Hatton, people NEED to sit up and take notice, cause if anything i think his underrated...perhaps his trash talking sells more sizzle then steak...well as of late anyway.

The way i see it, this year has not been good for him in terms of the fights he has fought, both poor fights and it is surprising but he has managed to get the Wins. But i would expect him to get it together again for Hatton and i think he will beat Hatton.

They stepped it up and now look at them. Struggling.

Overrated by my standards. He has a great following of fans. He is not the most exciting fighter in the world be he is an exciting character.

yeah he is a slick boxer but that makes up for his lack of power
in other words he might have some sweet boxing skills but without power it makes him an average fighter nothing special like his fans made him out to be the reason for his fame is his popularity not his in ring ability
the only thing that has him in the spotlight is that ibf belt and remember how he won it by defeating a guy with 8 losses and in his hometown with help from the ref and judges

He is pretty good, but overrated if he thinks he has a chance with Hatton.
                    He looked terrible against Ndou.

Agreed. He has brittle hands and should let them heal properly before making an ass of himself inside the ring. If someone knows him, tell him to message me. I can tell him where Tito goes when he has hand trouble.
