i have read some of your posts, and it is ridiculous. first of all, floyd is taking an easy 20 mil while cotto and margarito beat the hell outta each other. then he will do the same to cotto.

the funny thing is, i like cotto, but he can't beat floyd. i admire his heart and courage to fight any1, even ppl who dont deserve fights with him, but there is no way cotto will beat mayweather. floyd will fight him in december, give him his first loss, then retire.

the good thing about being "the man" everyone wants, is that you can pick and choose who you want to fight and when. u dont have to jump and fight somebody b/c everyone wants you to.

having said all that, i think cotto deserves a shot, and will get it......dont worry. the question is, does anybody really, and i mean seriously think he can BEAT mayweather? or does every1 just think he HAS A CHANCE???

Miguel Cotto will fight anybody. Floyd admitted to taking a fight for money over fighting the tougher challenger. He refuses to face tougher competition if there's not as much money involved. That is proof of his fear of losing. He doesn't care about his legacy. He cares about his bank. He is not a true, fighting champion. Just because he's been given the #1 p4p ranking (which won't last much longer, mind you), doesn't mean he's earned the right to fight has-beens, smaller men, and run his mouth without backing it up.
