Isn't Floyd retired/terrified?? Why are you fanboys acting like he is a factor? Wasn't he calling out Reggie Bush like a kid on the radio? Floyd is an immature scumbag ****** rat with lots of $$$.. Nothing more.

U show me where Hatton has called Floyd out on national tv, the way u want Cotto to do. If i recall correctly, Hattons exact words were "in this fight, you got more value for your money in these 4 rounds than you have in Floyd's whole career, i'll just leave it at that" Please point out how that constitutes to calling Floyd out. Disrespecting and trash talking? Yes. Calling him out and challenging him to a fight? No.

Plus, none of the two things you mentioned sound like, "I WANT to fight Floyd Mayweather, and prove myself against the best."

We all saw what happened when Larry Merchant asked him. He had the same opportunity Ricky Hatton had. Only one jumped at it.
Problem is there's a perception that Floyd is ducking Cotto and not the other way around (fair or not fair). Just the mere fact that ESPN, Maxboxing and other legit media sources are posting articles about it, is an issue - and everytime Floyd is in front of a camera: why don't you fight Cotto? Cotto is playing a very intelligent angle to this by not calling out Floyd directly - he's letting the fans/media do the talking and he's really disrespecting Floyd much worse but not even acknowledging him as the top WW. That in combo with the growing demands of a Cotto/PBF matchup, really put more pressure on Floyd NOT Cotto. The ONLY reason Hatton got the fight was because Floyd saw the UK $$$ coming into Vegas and it was a low-threat fight. Without that, Hatton could have called out Floyd's mama and the fight wouldn't have happened.

At 140, Floyd CLEARLY stated that he had no interest in fighting Cotto because he felt Cotto was still to green. Do i have to post the quote again?

Secondly, if those arent excuses that i posted, then what the hell are they?

no, you don't recall correctly..........and hatton called floyd out before he made that infamous "you saw more excitement in 4 rounds than in floyd's whole career" statement....it didnt' just pop into his head that particular night after beating castillo that ......."hey, let me call out......aaaaaaaaa....spur of the moment...........floyd mayweather......he planned to say that........he didn't think much of may before they fought......like many cotto fans, he thought floyd was a runner with no power........lol.........and look what happened.......you beat a bully up at hims own game.......floyd will do the same to cotto...........if cotto even beats margs.........cotto is in with a man who can finally beat him.......a man capable of knocking him out too........i think cotto can win.......but he can also lose..........lol..........

"when he has the courage to fight me, i will fight him"

if that's not absolutely ****ting on someone then tell me what is? i know it might not be to standards with the call outs in rap songs people calling eachother bitches and telling dude how you're going to **** his mother but cotto said it plain and simple. money may lacks the heart to get into the ring with someone who can really ****. all that speed and elusiveness doesn't mean **** dude. mayweather can't avoid every punch thrown for twelve rounds and he's never the aggresor.
Floyd is where Cotto wants to be..or should want to be..

It's up to HIM to approach Floyd..not the other way around..

FAAAAR greater fighters than Miguel have called-out fighters..so it makes no sense for him to act too sweet to do a call-out..

Cotto does not represent Mayweather's biggest payday..but Floyd would be Cotto's biggest by a mile..

His numbers in the Judah fight were 220,000...the ratings for the Gomez fight WHERE THE LOWEST IN HBO HISTORY..if he wants to make some BIG MONEY..he has to open his ****in mouth and start MAKING SOME NOISE.

Cotto doesn't have to be rude or offensive to call Floyd out..he can do it with class..

Floyd is in the driver's seat..if Cotto wants to drive..he has make his intentions known..not just to Floyd..but to the boxing world..
