Klitschkko vs. Peter: Vitali's Return - The Pros and Cons

FOR DIEGO FUENTES- I appreciate you telling me that "I don't understand", yet I fail to understand what I don't understand. Perhaps it is YOU who "don't understand". In fact the things that some people don't understand that they don't understand you wouldn't understand anyway...........Do you get that???
I don't- because I don't understand.
Anyway, to go to the sublime from the ridiculous, the facts are there for all to see, whether they understand or not, whether they have the only boxing insight around or not. And what I've written that bothers you so much, STILL STANDS, because as far as I know, it's true.
One thing- you use the words "linear" and "lineage". They have no connection with each other except that thy are related to the lord "line'.
"Linear" is generally used in Mathematics and surveying, whilst "lineage" refers to a line of succession, such as in families (blood relationships), or in the case of boxing, legitimate passage of title.
There is no such thing as a "linear" Champion, except when you see him stretched out in a LINE on the canvas having been KO'd.
Lewis may have been momentarly a lineal champion because he inherited 2 titles from Holyfield, (who himself may have inherited by beating Tyson, who beat all the other reigning champions-I think he was the only one who did so). But Lewis was shortly afterwards stripped by the WBA. I don't know what happened to his IBF belt, but for most of his Championship career he was only WBC Champion, although he may have picked up (and discarded) an XYZ or ABC title in passing. This is based only on my memory and can be disputed of course.
Again, he never fought any of the other reigning champions, (except Holyfield)which may have been why he lost his other 2 belts I don't know??Comment

Yes,an interesting point. I think when you review Wladimir's fights, he HAS been hit very solidly on the chin in the past and it never bothered him. Even Peter connected with quite a few wild swings, none of which even shook him. He went down from a rabbit punch, a shoulder push and a trip whilst avoiding a wild swing.I agree. Lewis landed a couple uppercuts that would have tore the head off most guys, but Vitali handed them well. One of them shook him up a bit, but how could they not? They were monster shots.
I have always wondered about that. You have two brothers, so much alike in their physical makeup. One exhibits an average chin, while the other one shows an exceptional one.
In the Sanders fight, you'll see that (a split fraction later) as Sanders landed his hefty left hand, he also landed his VERY hefty front head, the combination of which (when repeated) caused K to go down.
I personally think that he has a GOOD chin, but was given a complex about it by the Sanders fight and all the IMMEDIATE very negative publicity, and became punch-shy.Comment

Klitschko kept repeating "his head, his head....he..he..his head', when asked about his eye. That was nearly all the English he could manage in the after-fight interview, except to say LOUD and CLEAR "I can see, I can see, I can see very well, I don't know why they stop the fight....."???It helps if you don't get all of your information off of Boxrec, and actually watch a fight or two or read a boxing article before you run your trap.
Boy his chin really ****** in that Byrd fight, you know when his arm came out of the socket and he quit on his stool, and it really ****** in the Lewis fight when he wasn't taking great shots from Lennox when the fight was stopped due to a severe cut(s), which I still think were caused by a headbutt.Comment
