I thought the whole Joe C/Hopkins thing was gettin old. This is ancient by now. Had JMM not been knocked down, he woulda won, but he did get knocked down, so he lost a close decision. Get the **** over it already.

The numbers don't lie.. The majority of the press had it for Marquez as well as the fans.
It's cool though, Pacquiao still looked like a ***** since he couldn't get more then a split decision over an old man or put him away.

And the majority of the press said its a closed fight that could have gone either way and don't have a problem with Pac getting the judges and not calling it a robbery.

Look IT WAS A CLOSE fight. I don't care who had who winning. If anyone had Marquez winning by MORE than 2 points is a moron. They were pretty much all close rounds barring maybe the very last 2 round where i thought Marquez won and ofcourse the onw with the KD. Donaire had Marquez winning by a single point. It was just a close fight.

Even by your own numbers, 65% opinion does not establish concrete evidence.... 95% pro-JMM would be robbery.... A damn judge not knowing how to count knockdowns and thus concluding a lopsided fight a draw is robbery... But, when a substantial amount of opinions are varied implies a close fight....

This thread is lopsided in it's evidence; where is the list of pundits who scored the fight for Pacquiao?

Philboxing.com, which features all of the top Filipino boxing pundits, was split on who won. 8 had Pacquiao winning, 5 had Marquez.

Regardless of how you look at it, all of the scores are figured through 1 or 2 point margins. That isn't nearly enough room for a robbery.

Of course to some, those 1 or 2 points are unbearable for them because they wanted Marquez to win. Oh well, next time I guess.

JMM is my favorite active fighter. That is no secret. with that being said, I scored it a draw.

i'm also a Pac fan, but I have to say that JMM was more impressive in both the first and rematch. A lot of Pac fans like to use the word "destroyed" and "owned" when describing Manny's win over JMM, but lets get real here: Pac couldn't put down JMM even after 4 knockdowns all together.

Pacquiao knocked Juan Manuel Marquez down 4 times and still wasn't dominant enough to convince fans and experts that he clearly won both fights. That says something right there.

Fan of both,Marquez won the fight,i feel bad for him,both of his country men fell to Pac,Mexico wanted someone to beat him,they needed a hero,IMO and alot of others,Marquez DID beat him,he just didnt on the judges scorecards
