So how would Hatton destroy Cotto again?

A lot of people saying Hatton has been destroyed by Mayweather mentally and physically. Some said the same thing about De La Hoya because of his performance against Forbes which is laughable.

the fact is Hatton fought just like the type of fighter who has had ONE big win in his career. Some of you seem to have forgotten the Collazo fight where he was gettin served worse than this. Just because Floyd said yes doesn't mean that Hatton was a "great" fighter. He confirmed this again tonight. If he was really "mentally defeated" he would had been much more conservative going in being afraid to get caught. He was trying to get Lascano out of there.

Oscar De La Hoya just isnt the same Golden Boy he used to be. No he wouldnt beat any weltwerweight or middleweight just because Floyd fought him. Floyd fought a GOOD fighter that night, just not a great fighter like Hatton.

And back to the thread title, someone in here said Hatton would destroy Cotto, i just cant remember who and searching isnt bringing anything up. Cotto would mutilate and **** Hatton. Maybe even tweeze his eyebrows.

Hatton STILL is comin in unprotected when he throws that mid left upper. Does he not learn? Cotto is a natural southpaw, one clean left hook would end Hatton's noise.

I think if they had fought before Cotto moved to 147 and while he was having weight problems there is a strong possibility that Hatton could win. At 147 he has no chance.

Cotto is an elite prime fighter and thats all it takes to beat Hatton , even though Cotto had trouble making 140 , he did and beat all he fought , he would have stopped Hatton at 140 147 or anywhere in between , Hatton is not a very good fighter when we are talking about prime elite competition , Hatton has a big win against an aging faded champ in KT and ever since has looked average except with Castillo who was shot , its a case of Hatton is over rated and its plain to see if you take off the rose colored glasses .

He showed ridiculous recuperative powers against Torres. He was getting absolutely bombed on for a short period and managed to keep on his feet, and the "knockdown" he got was from a push while he was on unstable legs.
