Ricky Hatton Buckled, Outworks Juan Lazcano To Win

Absolutely right1: He shouldn't have stopped the action while Hatton was hurt to have his lace tied.
2: Before he even noticed the lace, he had stopped the action and separated the fighters for 10 seconds.
3: Hatton has shown a weak chin and not the greatest recovery; how you think there was "zero chance" is simply nuthuggery at its finest.Comment

You're the ****ing moron. The point I was making, a fairly straightforward one, was that Hatton dominated Lazcano in the same way that Cotto dominated Gomez. At no stage did I say Hatton won in identical fashion.Comment

I was reiterating that he's not ready for Mayweather and I also said he is not deserving of a rematch with Mayweather. Not the brightest Hatton fan are you, broffy?Comment

1. Hatton wasn't hurt and the action was legitimately stopped.1: He shouldn't have stopped the action while Hatton was hurt to have his lace tied.
2: Before he even noticed the lace, he had stopped the action and separated the fighters for 10 seconds.
3: Hatton has shown a weak chin and not the greatest recovery; how you think there was "zero chance" is simply nuthuggery at its finest.
2. Lazcano wasn't listening to him and he was trying to hold Lazcano back because he was trying to start fighting before being told to.
3. Hatton has been stopped once and has withstood massive shots from bigger and better punches than Juan Lazcano. I will admit there was not zero chance of a knockout but Hatton was not hurt and Lazcano had 12 rounds to make an impression on Hatton's "weak chin" and sadly for him he didn't.Comment

Embarrassing opinion.
Did you even watch Cotto/Gomez? **** was a massacre.
Are you calling what Ricky did tonight a "massacre"?
The only thing Ricky massacred was his credibility.Comment

Hatton came nowhere near dominating Lazcano in the manner Cotto did Gomez. Seriously. You're delusional. Gomez got absolutely dominated every second of every round.
Nuthuggery at its finest.
So you mean when every fighter in every fight takes one step towards the center of the ring and the ref doesn't immediately take 10 more seconds to scold them and put them in the corner... they're at fault, not Foster?2. Lazcano wasn't listening to him and he was trying to hold Lazcano back because he was trying to start fighting before being told to.
While he has only been stopped once, against Luis Collazo he was completely out on his feet, even much more so than against Lazcano.3. Hatton has been stopped once and has withstood massive shots from bigger and better punches than Juan Lazcano. I will admit there was not zero chance of a knockout but Hatton was not hurt and Lazcano had 12 rounds to make an impression on Hatton's "weak chin" and sadly for him he didn't.Last edited by Dirt E Gomez; 05-24-2008, 06:15 PM.Comment

There was only ever going to be one winner tonight and the same applied in the Cotto fight. Hatton landed twice as many punches as Lazcano and won almost every round with Lazcano looking like he could go at any point.Comment
