You mean the one where Gomez got absolutely battered every round, knocked down, and Cotto was never in danger?

    Delusions.
If you swap the names Hatton for Cotto and and Lazcano for Gomez you have an accurate description of tonight's fight.

Thats because he was basically looking for a reason to prolong his break, Lazcano was running to Hattons corner only to be told to turn around, that whole fiasco lasted 30-45 seconds, allowing him full time to recover, which was nothing short of pathetic.

don't know why someone complained about the article, don't see anything wrong with what was written

Hatton was in no trouble, nobody knows what was said between Lazcano and the ref but I think the reason for the delay was Lazcano's over-eagerness to resume the action.

The ref stepped in, when he didn't have to, and then instead of immediately letting them resume he chose to stop the action. Separating the fighters while one is hurt is not a justifiable time... and I really want to know what the Ref was stopping the action for after he separated them initially.

Was he mic'd for Sky sports coverage? I want to know what that douchebag was saying non-stop after every ****ing useless break and warning.

your posts don't count in my eyes, if hatton knocked out sugar ray robinson in his prime in 2 rounds you would try pick something negative out of it.

In that case I will ask you the same question I want the article's author tio answer - what is a referee supposed to do when a fighter's lace needs tied?

I'm done with you. You're a ****ing moron of the highest order.

So you're saying Hatton knocked Lazcano down several times during the fight? Where was this?

You're saying the fight had to be stopped and Hatton given the TKO victory? Where was this?

Wether its a loose lace, or a loose wrapping, if a guy is hurt you dont break up the action until there is a long enough lull to interfere, you rarely see someone getting hurt and looking like they are going down and then the fighter throwing the punches gets the warning COUPLED with fixing whatever article is loose on the fighter.

A good fighter would destroy a fighter of Lazcano's stature. Look what a prime Castillo did to a prime Lazcano. Hatton is not a P4P level fighter and most certainly not world class...
