Was he mic'd for Sky sports coverage? I want to know what that douchebag was saying non-stop after every ****ing useless break and warning.
They didn't resume immediately because Hatton's lace needed tied and Lazcano was not listening to the referee. The action was correctly stopped initially and there was zero chance of Hatton being stopped.

So you're saying Hatton knocked Lazcano down several times during the fight? Where was this?

You're saying the fight had to be stopped and Hatton given the TKO victory? Where was this?
Gomez has no way near the chin or heart as Lazcano. If Hatton fought Gomez, it would have been the same kinda stoppage.

There was no issue with the referee tonight, some arrogant Yanks, of which I'm presuming you are one, are seeking to discredit the referee in a thinly veiled and pathetic attempt to exonerate Cortez from his appalling performance last December. Some poeple may blame Cortez for Hatton's defeat but I don't, I simply say Cortez was very poor that night but Hatton would have lost irrespective of who was in charge.

gomez had never been kd or koed so how do you come to the conclusion that he doesn't have as good a chin as lazcano

1: He shouldn't have stopped the action while Hatton was hurt to have his lace tied.
2: Before he even noticed the lace, he had stopped the action and separated the fighters for 10 seconds.
3: Hatton has shown a weak chin and not the greatest recovery; how you think there was "zero chance" is simply nuthuggery at its finest.

No way Hatton was gonna be stopped. Did you not see when the ref pushed Juan away (to allow Ricky to ties his laces) the Mexicans legs practically buckled to the floor. He was almost gonna fall down). The commentators picked it up. Anyone who posts that round up on youtube will be able to see that. Ref help my ass.
