I also really like Wlad Klitchsko but I just can't see how he would have a chance against Ali.
You don't think Lennox Lewis presents problems for Ali?

I think wlad would've had a chance like anyone else. And certainly a way better chance than some of the stiffs Ali had to fight in his prime. Remember , eatsern euros , but more precisely all soviets were banned from participating back then. (just like cubans). The HW scene would've been way different if it wasn't for this ridiculous situation they had to deal with back then.

I'd say Wald , with his size , reach , power and skills would have a reasonable chance to beat a prime Ali...I'm not saying it would be a sure bet or anything.
But i'd give him a logical 50/50 chance on his side.

If the frail Henry Cooper was able to almost KO ali (ali , the guy who wouldn't go down vs Foreman and yet almost got owned by a thin brit)...then a big , skilled Ukrainian (yes , he's a got a ****ty chin but still) , also has decent chances on his side.

Ali's corner were forced to come up with a bull**** excuse to save his ass and give him some time to recuperate..that's the reason why he still won the ****ing fight against Cooper.

I'm the one who's saying this and yet , i don't even give a **** about today's division not about wlad. (i find him rather boring) but i'm being realistic. Ali to me is a human being. Not a god. A "legend" yes , but in an era in which he never had to deal with the rest of the world. His competition was for the most part against 90 if not , 95% americans.

it's easy to label someone a "champ" of the world if you concider the world to be solely limited to the united states.

Not just Lewis , but Vitali , Tyson , Wlad and many others who are concidered to be "bums" by the average joe. People aren't thinking logically. When they read the name "muhammad ali" they automatically associate this name with "legend" , "god like"...as they should. yes a "legend of boxing" indeed. However , we should never forget that he was not only still human...and that much weaker competition was able to give him some hard time in his career.

Which is why , remarks such as "chris Byrd" , brewster etc...caused problems to this or that fighter is irrelevant. A prime Brewster would've owned a lot of the guys ali had to fight back then too. Same goes for the one dimensional Sam Peter or Tua.

Anything can happen in a fight even to the best ones.
Buster douglas proved it. So did Hasim rahman (against a prime lennox lewis). and a past prime maskaev (in his rematch against hasim)

I think Lennox, Wlad, and Vitali would pose some problems to Ali but none of them would win IMO. Lewis would have the best chance but of course all of them COULD beat ali but i dont think it would happen.

That's crazy talk, muhammad just stood up for what he believed in hes whole life, there was deff a reason for the islam religion leader to teach that white men were devils... look at what they were doing to the black people. But if you watch any interviews of muhammad ali now, he says that he never thought white men were really devils, the devil can be anyone.

Maybe you should try watching one of his 49 other wins or one of his 44 knockouts. Anyway the idea of a guy that was stopped by a 40 year old cruiserweight lasting 3 rounds with Wlad is laughable.

Had a bit to drink when you wrote this eh?

Consider this. Wladimir is very good boxer, but most of the HW today arent really moble. They are usually right in front of Wladimir which enables him to easily outbox them. Ali was one of the most moble HW's ever. I cant envision Wladimir having an easy time landing many hard punches, much less beat him to a pulp. Also, Ali had incredible handspeed, way faster than Wladimir and wayyyy faster than anyone he has ever faced. And do not even think of mentioning Corrie Sanders, which I know some buttlicker will pull out of his ass.

Dont feel bad, not being able to beat Ali doesnt make you a bum.
