Honestly, what is this? You have to be a huge star and sell millions of PPVs just to fight Mayweather? Who does he think he is? Its ***ing boxing, the best should fight the best. But Mayweather thinks he too good to fight anybody just because Hatton and De La Hoya made him sh! loads of money.

Mayweather fought a guy from England in HIS now hometown. In HIS country. Yet the entire arena booed Mayweather and cheered for Hatton. Same against Oscar.

I just dont like how he goes about things. He shows no hunger or desire to fight. He just wants money. And if he dont make tons of money he wont fight. He dont care about staying active, fighting top fighters, or any of that.

I respect what Mayweather did until he hit 140-147. Since then i dont like the career moves he has made and lost respect for him.

Uh, he gets booed for the same reason he makes millions. He plays the "bad guy."

If he could make more playing the "good guy," I'm sure he would and people would cheer him.

Do you even realize Ali used to sell out arenas because people wanted to see him lose?

Only Ricky Hatton and de la Hoya are worthy because they are winnable.

Good point. I'm convinced that Floyd is trying to turn boxing into something like WWE, and even worse, I think if he succeeds it will actually become more popular.

        Unbelievable.

Possibly, one of the biggest insults to Boxing anyone could ever make is compare anything regarding Maweather to Ali.

I think if he got his **** together and fought the best instead of piecing out guys like Hatton, who wasn't on Mayweather's level to begin with, the sport would be better.

Ali fought the best, constantly. Ali went about things MUCH differnet than Mayweather. People claimed for a fight, and usually Ali would end up taking that fight. He didnt say "this guy needs to sell $21090221 in PPVS, say Toy Boat 3 times fast, and dance with the stars to be worthy to fight me.

They didnt have PPV's back then so he couldnt do that. Besides if Floyd did fight the best and fought defensively and back pedaled like Ali did until he got older and couldnt move as well, then people would still hate, Floyd is smart in that he doesnt try and please people in which you can never do.

Hatton was considered a threat and on Mayweather's level... till he got dominated and KOTFO. Same with DLH. Do you know what the odds were in those fights? They were slim. Not 1:1, but it's rare to find ANY boxing match that slim.

If I was Mayweather, I'd be doing the same god damn thing. Why am I going to work for 10 million when I can work for 50.
