Taylor has better wins than Calzaghe does. I wouldn't exactly call that hyped. Jeff Lacy was our guy in a division absolutely nobody gave a **** about, so we thought he could dominate. I mean who the **** was Kessler and Calzaghe? They had done nothing to prove themselves more than Lacy, so 168 was a big question mark. We figured he was as good as the others and we were wrong. So what? Paul Williams could still turn out well. He did stand toe to toe with Margarito and win after all.

You mean his wins against super punchers Ouma and Spinks?

Beating Hopkins twice (and not getting knocked down either time by the way ) and Winky Wright is better than beating Hopkins and Kessler. I think anybody would agree with that.

Ok technically he got a draw with Wright. I'll say their resumes are even if it makes you feel better.

If having a big punch is relevant, I'm not sure how you can be a fan of Calzaghe.

I never, ever need to post on UK vs US boxing bias ever again. You are the apotheosis of it. Thankyou.

Last time I checked he did not beat Wright, huh. We talking victories here.

BTW Kessler is a better fighter then Winky and would beat him.

His fights with hopkins were both quite questionable too, but what can you expect from Taylor, all of his career was quite questionable. Sucks not to be able to win any of your biggest fight convincingly, huh?

This one went soo over your head, Dirt.

Both Ouma and Spinks were the sacrificial lambs for Taylor's career after his bleak fights with Hopkins, but instead of slaughtering, he barely cut them and one of them even gave him a decent whiping in the process.

It really has nothing to do with Joe.

Kostya Tszyu was NOT beaten with ease by Hatton. Before Tszyu quit fight was dead even with one round going either way.

all you have to do is ask yourself why you dislike certain fighters. some people like villians and others dont...some of it has to do with national pride...
