There's no need to bring nationality into everything. I'm sure there are plenty of Brits who haven't seen much of Miranda so it goes both ways.

I'm British and I hope Froch goes on to great things, but right now Miranda looks to be the better fighter. I guess that's my pro-Colombian bias kicking in again...

Odd, I felt he came across like a bit of a doofus in the 2nd vid Ricky posted back a page. Didn't really show much depth of gauging his situation, or say anything smart. In-fact he said; "Joe Calzaghe is a great champion, but as a domestic level fight, this has the chance to be a blockbuster.

He's either mis read the situation which everyone else see's clearly, or just said something ****** there. Joe is clearly a bigger world star and looking for a big international match up to draw his career to a close as he's had too many domestic fights. What do you do, but emphasise exactly why he wouldn't want to fight you because it's a smaller domestic fight, would do little for his reputation in the US, or outside of the UK tbh. Well done, just made absolutely certain Joe would never fight you lol. Intelligent guy ya ya.

To be fair it mighta been a bad day, Joe was on a v commercial show in the UK with his wife, and instead of putting on the charm and intelligent hat like he can, he acted like he just smoked 7 bongs while his make up was being done.

This was an oversite from the WBC. He will be back next month, and from what I hear, very highly placed.

This seems ridiculos. When I made the poll, Miranda was rated no.4 or 5. That was from *********.

Today ********* has updated the rankings so they match the ones you posted and Miranda is gone. WTF???? Surely that's a mistake.

Of all the money these alphabet org.s make they apparently cannot find a dude to check the ratings before publicising them. What a turn-off. Or did Miranda get a suspension???? Nahhhh. We would have heard about it for sure. It must be a ****** alphabet mistake.

I've voted for Froch, but i'm pretty split on the fight. I think Froch has enough in him to out gun Miranda, a guy i've never rated highly and i think can dish it out but can't take it. On the other hand Froch isn't proven at that level, but then again Miranda has proven he isn't a world champion standard fighter. Really tough fight to call.

Miranda has a ton of heart and a fine chin IMO. Pavlik's win over Pantera was by ref.s stoppage and Miranda took some big shots from Abraham without flinching the first time around if I recall correctly.

I think his chin should be fine. He's got to look out for that right hook/uppercut though.
