No u don't! all u need is the abilty to box and move side to side. If Cotto comes in tip top shape he wins handily. Remember Margarito was getting outboxed by Clottey and Williams. The only shot Margarito has of winning is by KO and he can do it if he puts together a combo on Cotto who is very hittable. I'm anxious to see what is going to happen...Comment

the goal in this fight is to WIN. the aim is to get a fight with mayweather or dlh as margarito stated. although i think cotto CAN go toe-to-toe with margo, it would make it a much tougher fight. entertaining for us fans, but tougher than what it has to be. if cotto chooses to box (and boxing and running are two diff things. ppl get it twisted!!), cotto will win easily b/c margarito cannot box with him. margo only knows one way to fight, which is why he doesn't stand a chance of beating a mayweather jr.- EVER!
btw- its funny to me how ppl accuse floyd of DUCKING by taking the de la hoya fight. but you have here margarito says a fight w/ dlh is one of the fights he's shooting for!!! the fight every1 wants, is the one mayweather gets, and all of a sudden he's a coward.................GTFOH!!!!!Comment

To be honest I really don't know who will win this fight. Thier strengths are their strengths and can take advantage of the other fighters weakness. I mean Cotto can box and pressure which would tkae advantage of Margarito lack of mobility and speed. Cotto is suspect with his chin and very hittable especially in close range with uppercuts and what not and that is what margarito do. I can't call it...Comment

Should be an easy win for Cotto. Margarito already proved he can easily be outboxed not to mention he gets hit a lot. He's not particularly quick and throws wide punches so he'll probably have a hard time penetrating Cotto's defense.Comment

I am, I know Margaritos fans are not because is the only hope Margarito has of winning. Cotto style of boxing is not Mayweathers style of boxing. His boxing is based on offense, not defense he will move and hit Margarito hard. He will switch to southpaw often and keep Margarito guessing. And watching Cotto beat the **** out of a guy that won't go down, he will eventually, is going to be fun to watch.
Miguel's style is possibly the worst style match up for Margarito. Cotto is a boxer/puncher that hits hard, he can outbox Margarito and break him down.
And after he breaks him down his going in for the kill.Comment
