boxing in america is a niche sport. its all about nba/nfl/mlb. if boxing was as popular over here as it is in cuba or those european countries then we'd be dominating

dont confuse disinterest with going soft
One minute people are saying Boxing is big in the USA, and it's the center of boxing itself. The next you saying it's not that big, and you disinterested. Jeez man, you can't have it both ways, as good as a excuse attempt that is.

USA was well into the heavy weight division when you had fighters at the top level in there. Even if you don't have interest in it now then it shows your ignorance and unwillingness to watch and appreciate other countries fighters at the top level. Also shows poor form, not wanting to compete, a defeatist attitude, and lack of support for those whom could challenge at the top if you got behind them. If you are interested, where are you top boys in the division?

Truth is it's somewhere in between and varies, but don't make such lame excuses man. Your being out don in the Heavy weight division, the top guy is from a country where boxing was not big at all, had minimal facilities, and isn't today a renown boxing hot spot. Save your excuses, have some realism, respect and admit your losing.
