Mayweather has earned his right to go where the money is. I'm just as disappointed about the Oscar rematch as anyone else, but that's where the money is. The winner of Cotto Margarito will be where the money is, then he'll go there too.

The problem I have with the haters of Floyd is that they act as if Floyd is fighting bums for a lot of $$$. A lot of his haters don't want to see hatton win or Cotto win or Margo win. They want to see Floyd lose. The same arguments they present for every fight he takes no matter if that is the fight that they clamoring for him to take. Fight Zab Floyd, let's see how u do with someone as quic as u, then they turn around and diss the fight. Same thing for Hatton and Oscar and the same ting will be for Cotto or Margarito

Skillwise? Duran and Leonard. Both had maybe less defensive skills(although both had great defenses, neither was a defensive fighter) but definately better offense.

And great skills is just a part of the deal.

And don't forget that most of Floyd's inside defense is based on turning his head away or duck down so that the opponent only has the back of his head and back of the torso to hit. Effective, but limited.

Both of you guys were huge supporters of Williams. So much that you both claimed he had the right to face Floyd just as much as anyone else.

Oh but back then PPV sales didnt matter as much did they? Being a draw and well known didnt exactly matter did it? Not that Quintana/Williams was held in a ball room or anything...

But now PPV numbers do matter. You have to be a draw to face the great Mayweather. So was Williams more deserving because his style looks cool? Is it because he's black?

This is some weird ****, mayweather's fans are the weirdest bunch, instead of supporting their guy to fight everyone and clean out the devision, they want him to either fight the guys he already beat and really don't pose much threat to him anyway.
My favorite fighter right now is Wlad, and I want him to fight guys that are the most dangerous for him, not the guys who don't have much chance against him in a first place.

If you're a fan of both Mayweather and Williams you need to ask yourself how much of Mayweather's skills you're really attuned to.

i love how you guys make floyd to be the big underdog in every fight when thats completely the opposite. No one was demanding Baldomir, DLH and Hatton like they are demanding Cotto/Mayweather. Deal with it. Live with it. The sooner you accept that the WORLD wants that fight, not just 3-4 kids from Boxingscene that you call "everyone", but the WORLD wants this fight, the easier it will be for you to go through out your day without stress.

I really don't agree with Duran. he is a better fighter than Duran and would have beat him too. i think he is on par with Leonard. Like u said...Floyd's defense is better and Leonard offense was slightly better. Leonard definitely had more pop, but i think they pretty even.

also most of floyd's inside defense is not turning his head away. but he does duck and slip punches on the inside and will clinch as well. I don't see how ducking and slipping and rolling punches within close distance is limited. can u explain that?

i never portrayed him as the underdog. he is the best fighter right now..it's impossible for him to be the underedog unless he goes up to far in weight or he loses. I remember a lot of people on this site saying that baldomir was too big and strong and would put pressure on floyd and it would be his toughest fight. Oscar was too big and Floyd can't take his punch and will be Koed. Hatton had more people demanding Floyd than Cotto does. Hatton and Floyd talk was going on for years, YEARS!!!

Now don't get me wrong I want to see him whoop on Cotto like the rest so the haters can pick a new threat to give him a L and then we can repeat cycle over again. 2501 do you realize if he fights Cotto, he still won't be the underdog?
