Cintron is actually a pretty talented fighter. If he was in a different weight division he'd probably be one of the top guys, but Margarito is possibly the worst possible choice of opponent for him.
Cintron's problem is that he relies too much on his power. He goes out there and tries to KO people. If it doesn't work he carries on trying anyway. You can get away with it against Jesse Feliciano, but not against someone like Margarito.
If Cintron went up against Mayweather and tried to use his reach, size and strength advantages, and waited patiently for a KO opportunity, rather than trying to force it, then we'd have a very good fight. Even if it was one-sided, it would be better than seeing Floyd taking 9 months off.Comment

ahahahah what????Both of you guys were huge supporters of Williams. So much that you both claimed he had the right to face Floyd just as much as anyone else.
Oh but back then PPV sales didnt matter as much did they? Being a draw and well known didnt exactly matter did it? Not that Quintana/Williams was held in a ball room or anything...
But now PPV numbers do matter. You have to be a draw to face the great Mayweather. So was Williams more deserving because his style looks cool? Is it because he's black?
Which is it?Comment

** Nobody would dis Floydy for that fight had he accepted when first offered.
That's the undisputed, unified welt title offered to Floydy over 4 months before he faced the Great Gatti for Floydy's WBC Company Man belt.
Floydy took short money against Gatti too. Man, Sugar Ray Robinson had over 200 fights and he never took no short money against NOBODY.
Hopefully Floydy rematches Big Show. He took short money in that bout it turns out.
I could understand the hype about Roy, but Floydy? Guess they don't make greats as great as they used to.Comment
