Slow, crude no real names in the W colum other than Cintron. So whats ur thoughts?
If Cotto wins it'll be viewed as a very credible win.

Style-wise Tony is a nightmare for Miguel, so if he somehow manages to pull off the win he'd have dispatched one of the more dangerous opponents he can fight, in a division already filled with talent.

I think the risk reward discussion is legitimate in that no doubt the risk is very real with someone as tough as Margarito. I'm not so sure about the reward side though. I view a Cotto win as essentially catapulting him into a position on par with Mayweather in terms of being the man to beat. In terms of short run market positioning, in terms of strengthening his brand and essentially paving the way for a potentially remarkable legacy, a win here can prove pivotal.

And I know that while the thought nowadays that money might not be a primary, seems ludicrous in professional sports, it's an interesting thought to entertain, that courage and achieving greatness might still have their place.

Yes itll affect his legacy in a good way. When people look back at this and they do their homework they will see that Cotto has no one else to face but Tony. Tony is the big bad wolf in the division. "The most feared". Since no one really wants to fight him aka mayweather, Cotto is stepping up to the plate. Tony is Cottos biggest threat If cotto gets by him the only other person he has to face to seal the deal is mayweather. If he faces him. Cotto is the number 2 WW right now behind money. If he beat margo that is 3 and 4(mosley).Hes just widening the margin within him and everyone else.
