Things that make the sport today worst then it was in the past

The weigh in rules are ridiculous, although the fighters themselves love it. You can't really compare champions from over 30 years ago to now because they are fighting in unrealistic weight classes. You can be certain that someone like Jake LaMotta wishes he could have weighed in the day before. He was a super middleweight before the weight class was created. What do yout hink makes the sport worst today then it was back then?
I'll start with, weigh-ins.
They allow fighters who have no place being in certain classes to fight in them. Take Sugar Shane & DLH @ 135. in the case of shane, his record will always be controversial because he was pretty much fighting above 135 everytime. And DLH was a man who had NO reason to be in the lightweight division. AM I right?
Keep this thread going and give more reasons.Comment

None of those are new to boxing.
For the last one, well in the past it applied more to the HW champs, but robberies and guys getting ducked are not new at all to the sport.Comment

George Foreman caused that when he came back after 10 years and made a mother****ing fortune. Before that you hardly ever saw guys in their 40's in main events. Nelson-Fenech is sick.Comment
