But Foreman didn't fight on the senior tour.

He didn't fight a big name really until a young, undefeated Holyfield, and was competitive against all the young guys until he shocked Michael Moorer. I can respect that ****, just like I can respect Bernard Hopkins staying around so long. He beat some real good fighters.

Two old dudes unretiring to fight one another, making money off what they accomplished many moons ago is a joke.

Yeah, that's only a thing of the present.

Jack Welsh was real fair when he lifted Ad Wolgast from the canvas.

people in boxing now a days has more crappy talk but less action during fight night. i am not racist but just stating the facts. african american boxers before would talk **** but would still give a hell of a fight during fight night. while african americans now a days keeps yapping but no action and it turns out to be a bad pay per view fight. small example? pbf vs anyone , bhop vs winky.

what's saving boxing today are hispanics. they are all out action fighters.

                I'll start with, weigh-ins.
They allow fighters who have no place being in certain classes to fight in them. Take Sugar Shane & DLH @ 135. in the case of shane, his record will always be controversial because he was pretty much fighting above 135 everytime. And DLH was a man who had NO reason to be in the lightweight division. AM I right?

Keep this thread going and give more reasons.

I agree, there has always (and will always) be bad judging.
This is my biggest boxing pet peeve alongside the corrupt promotions and network bias. There has to be precedent to go by in judging fights. I'm starting to think judges aren't removed enough from unobjectivity and maybe like to hit the bar before a fight. I don't want to see the same kind of fight judged in opposing ways depending on who is fighting that Saturday.

wtf? not all hip hop is for idiots. just most of it passed 1995 or so. but the hip hop culture does seem to have a negative impact on many, many things.

                    anyways.........................

anyways, too many organizations and belts! we would be fine with just two major belt organizations so that we could still have a unified champ/2 top guys fighting. would be much better than the 4 we have now probably.

the drop from 15 rounds to twelve. why must it be an even number. it doesn't make sense! even in our asian full contact fighting toutnaments, we have three rounds. that way there is no room for draws.

don king's assertion on the heavyweight division. sure there have been guys like him in the past. but he seems to take promotion to another level. i have no idea of how many cheats and how much influence he has, but i know it is deep and the guy has cash.

not enough guys that fight often. we still have guys like james toney and wladimir klitschko who both have over 50 fights, but not as many guys get to have 50 wins these days let alone 50 fights.

those ads on the ring. notice how they always **** with a fighter's balance and footing.

ads on the back of fighters. makes them look like whores in a sense.
