I could be wrong....but come June 7 Sergio Hora (Mora) will get the shock of his life...Vernon is going to bring Mora back to earth and kill all the hype that surrounds this bum. Mora will then see he isnt all that. (just my opinion)
read my mind as well bro, i was thinking of waiting till after the fight for this thread so people could include mora if he lost, but i couldnt. . i think mora is not 1/2 as good as he believes he is, and will get a serious check against forrest!
Re-watch the fight.. McGirt is in the corner saying "I'm pulling the plug, Lamon, I'm pulling the plug.."
Don't argue with me about this. I will never change my opinion!
I have seen the fight enough to know that technically Buddy McGirt stopped the fight. But i take offense to it because he said Klitschko had no balls and that he had so much more heart and blah blah leading up to the fight...
When McGirt said he was gonna stop it Lamon basically shrugs and says "Sounds like a great idea Buddy lets get our checks and get out of here"
This was for the heavyweight championship of the world too, not FNF
Either way it is Lamon is relevant because it was a severe reality check because he had to own up to the fact that he said all those things and then didnt go out on the shield. He hasnt fought since and even if he does he will never be any good, Wlad castrated his career.
Recently 90's and up Michael Grant. Roy Jones Jr. Antonio Tarver. Bernard Hopkins. Kermit Cintron. Jorge Arce. Manny Pacquiao. Juan Diaz. Michael Katsidis. Mike Tyson. Really a **** load, losing is part of the game too -unfortiontly.
Shockingly you didn't list any Mexican fighters there. I'm stunned.

All that Lamon said is that he was hungrier than Wlad. That he had more on the line.. Which I don't see as a far cry from the truth.
And the fact remains (in my humble opinion) that Lamon never willingly stopped. McGirt stopped it, and no- Lamon didn't just shrug.
