Yep. Thats the first one coming to mind. He thought he was the best and then he was thouroughly outclassed.

Alfonzo Gomez is another one. He thought he could dance with the big boys, but he got severely outgunned by Cotto.

        Lamon never quit.

Re-watch the fight.. McGirt is in the corner saying "I'm pulling the plug, Lamon, I'm pulling the plug.."

whose knocking you? LOL just pointed out no one seems to be riding this dude anymore.
No one is knocking me was just pointing something out...My bad if you took it the wrong way...I guess its more of a personal dislike for Mora...Hell, he went to far when he dissed my hometown ( Memphis, TN). Remember he wouldnt fight Taylor in Memphis for specific reasons (blame it on the hometown decisions) I mean Taylor has had some questionable decisions but dont talk down on a city.

all good my man and yeah he admitted to be last interview he ****ed up by not taking the Taylor fight. Trust me his persona does turn off a lot of fans so you are not alone in your thinking.

            Vernon is gonna wax dat

No fighter in history has been brought back down to earth like Tyson did against Douglas. I bet Mike still has nightmares about that night.

Sad thing is, Byrd probably could have gotten a superfight with one of them if he had either picked a tomato can to squash, or not gotten a tuneup fight at all.
