Lockett has good power, & has steadily improved in his skills.
That being said, he has never fought a major international opponent...
Some good domestic opposition, but that's it.

He's a solid ****er with some skills, & seems composed & smart in his interviews, realising he's the big underdog but has no problems with it. He'll prepare himself well & come to win is his attitude.

Would put him at about 7 or 8 to 1 against.
He's got power, & Pavlik can be hit, but their is a major gap in experience, & Pavlik also has big advantages in height & reach.

He has a lot to overcome, that is for sure.

i wouldn`t give odds of more than 3-1 in any boxing match. Lockett has power and if he conects with Pavliks jaw with a big shot, he could knock him out. Its not like Pavlik has a good chin.

The only way Lockett win's is if Tye Field's is in his corner and in his heart.

That's what I was thinking but there is no way that Lockett has enough money to pay Tye Fields to work the corner. So basically it's a foregone conclusion that Pavlik wins.

True even though Tye Field's has control over everything he doesn't like to work "pro bono" or for cheap unless of course your one of his followers and even then you better be praying everyday. For Lockett's case I hope Tye Field's has some sympathy for him because he might allow Pavlik to absolutely brutalize him.

Sometimes, Tye Fields' sympathy is all one needs to prevail; however I don't know if Tye will feel sorry as that is practically impossible.
