What are the odds that Lockett beats Pavlik?

    Poll to come...

BTW I reckon Cotto-Gomez (well at least for me) was 20-1.

I'd say 10-1. No closer than that.

This would be a monumental upset if Pavlik loses... because I had never heard of Gary Lockett in my entire life and have no idea how the hell he became the #1 contender for the WBO.

it would take like 25 to 1 odds for me to place a bet and then only like $25.

As in slim to none, do you mean that Fields has a better chance of losing to Monte Barrett then Lockett has of beating Pavlik?

Put it in a 2 bet Parlay and think about the odds you would get

I made it 5-1, although it will probably be higher.

Fights like this are a recipe for an upset. Why? Well you have a huge underdog, first time on the world stage with something to prove, while you have a champion, coming off big fights with big names, who just might take his opponent lightly.

I disagree. I think Lockett is far more likely to be intimidated and dominated because of the big stage. Pavlik doesn't seem the type to underestimate anybody. Mostly because he's the one that's been underestimated. He knows he's still got more to prove.
