Shouln't Mijares be ranked higher on p4p lists?

Last night I watched a brilliant display of boxing skills by Cristian Mijares as he unified the WBC and WBA titles at super flyweight.

His opponent Munoz was a excellent fighter: the WBA champion, a powerful puncher and highly technically skilled. Yet Mijares schooled him - Munoz hardly landed a punch during the whole fight. There wasn't a mark on Mijares face when it ended. One very incompetent judge scored it for Munoz, but it was obvious to all unbiased observers that Mijares won a very wide decision. I thought 117-110 or 118-109 was the correct score.

In my opinion, Mijares should be ranked ahead of a lot of people in the p4p lists - maybe even enter the top ten. He's defeated Arce, Navarro, and now Munoz. His speed, technique and reflexes are second to no one in boxing.

Mijares has been underrated for awhile now. He is definitely top 15, and probably deserves to be in the top 10.

Top 15, but he is quickly approaching the top 10 one more big victory and I do not think you could keep him out.

The judge that scored it for Munoz was recommended by the WBA, LMAO. Mijares should be in the top 15 AT LEAST and I would have no problem with him in the top 10.

I see he's now moved up to #11 in the BoxRec p4p rankings, from #16 yesterday.

On the BoxRec super flyweight list, he's gone from #2 to #1.

Mijares had to go to Japan to win his WBC title, then defended it in Japan.

                His wins include:

                Kawashima twice in Japan
                Munoz
                Navarro
                Arce
                Lopez

He's at about #11-12 p4p now. Another big win, and he clearly belongs in the top ten.

If he ever moves up, I'd like to see him fight Hozumi Hasegawa. Not many people know him, but he's also a pretty good slick southpaw like Mijares. It would be a great high paced chess match.

He hasn't had a career defining fight, his win against Arce was the closest to it but not quite it. I think he's punished by the fact that nobody else around his weight has made a name for themselves so that he can win and get recognition. I have him at number ten on my list.
