Hey guys calm down. I am a puertorican that lives in PR and here lives a lot of mexicans and we get along verywell. They are a very hard working people and cool also. And they like to drink as hell just like me. The puertoricans that lives in the island are characterized with our hospitality with foreigners. I dont know in the states because i only been there in vacations but if its like the way i see here its just sad and inmature. I understand that we Latinos have a lot of proud of our heritage and thats good. But lets concentrate in the things that unites us as a comunity like the same lenguage, religion, almost the same heritage, character jajjaa thats why we fight a lot. We Mexicans and Puertoricans should be proud of our standing in boxing and also the own the best rivalry in boxing today. Between the two we can almost domain the whole sport. So my respect the my fellow maxicans friends. And lets see the show that these two nations are going to put in Jul 26 lets show the world how a real fight take place. May the best man win.Comment

It's just a rivalry amongst the Boxing community. At the end of the day we are Hispanic and get categorized the same by White America. We share similar foods, music, and of course our language. To me I look at it as being from New York or Cali, of course the culture is different but at the end of the day you are American. The Puerto Ricans, Colombians, El Salvadorians etc. all blend in well amongst the Mexican community here in Texas. I know plenty of Mexican fans that think Cotto is better than Margarito and want to see him win so he will go KO Floyd.Comment

I've noticed a lot of unjustified negativity and hate directed toward Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters. There's a lot of hate directed toward white fighters too. And interestingly, it's the same people doing it: a few black supremacists, but mostly from some white guys who wannabe black, like Addison.
And it's not only here. You see the same from the two guys on youtube, boxing 4 real: two white losers who worship black fighters and hate on Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Europeans.Comment

Everyone is different, there is no official way of being or thinking Mexican.
Im married to a woman from zapopan, no one here is denying any ****, son.
I just don't like Ponce's fight game, nothing against him personally. The same way i don't like Arce, and was happy to see him lose to Christian Mijares from sinaloa.Comment
