He won't have to, lol Mayweather will take that pay day reguardless if Hatton loses. But it's not a big deal the more you think about it.

Oscar, Floyd, and Hatton may be all tied up at the moment. But there's actual fights about to take place around them. Thank god lol.

Somtimes I can't understand Hatton don't u think if he would have fought Witter that would have prepared him for a fast guy like Mayweather. Like u can't just go from an old JLC too Mayweather but I gotta admit he did good against kosta Tyszu

Fighting Mosely would be a good test but, Zab would be a closer style and speed matchup. Zab has less skill though. Plus, I don't see Zab as a real WW he would be better off at 140 IMO.

The only way to earn a Floyd rematch is beating the Cotto-Margarito winner (providing the winner doesn't immediately get a shot at Floyd; which they should).

Floyd isn't a junior welterweight anymore so its irrelevant what Hatton does back there, he needs to take out a welter

I'd rather see Hatton fight Zab or Mosley. I don't think Hatton could pull either one off, but I'm sure he'd give a better accounting of himself than fighting Mayweather again.

It may not be an attractive or necessary matchup, but I really like and admire the fact that Hatton realizes that he has to earn this rematch after coming off his loss.
                  Very un-Winky Wright ish.

Yes, you'll have to wait until the summer of 2009 for Mayweather-Cotto, but in return for the wait you'll receive on the biggest fights in welterweight and boxing history. I, for one, am willing to wait, let this fight boil and fester for one more year, and then see a clash of the titans that the whole world will tune in to witness.

Better yet, have Floyd fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito first after DLH. After that he can fight anybody he wants.
