I actually find Dirrell's last performance to be entertaining. He won me back as a fan who is on the fence, he has a shot to make me a fan. Which is more than could be said BEFORE Hanshaw. I have no grudge. The question came up listening to a rap song, actually.
In the song, it goes. 'I'd rather die like a man, then live like a coward' I just converted the question to boxing.Comment

Like I've said many times before, being a "coward" has no relation to avoiding punishment, it's only what the blood-thirsty ignorant people wish to see to satisfy their sadistic impulses. The very phrase "winning like a coward" is an oxymoron, because in a sport in which the purpose is to hit the opponent, an actual coward could never emerge victorious.
"Losing like a man" is just as, if not dumber than "winning like a coward". The phrase is sexist in that it implies that "bravery" and "courage", as well as tolerance to pain are exclusively masculine qualities. Besides this, suggesting that receiving unnecessary and excessive physical punishment should be respected is sickening in its primitive and animalistic implications.Comment

What would you rather do?
True, no one is a coward if they step in the ring. But, it's more for dramatic effect and lack of a better term.
Would you rather win like a coward, or lose like a man?
To make it an even tougher question, imagine that this is gonna be (whether you know it or not) the biggest fight of your entire career.
Vote. Discuss.
I'd rather lose and keep my pride and dignity then win like a *****.. I think you get more respect that way and you don't have that feeling of being a punk inside you.Comment
