..Win Like A COWARD, Or Lose Like A Man?........

Originally posted by ~Ironside View PostIf you run like you say, you're not gonna win a fight. I watched Zelenoff-Hartley, but I don't get what you're saying. Both fighters in the Zelenoff-H fight were kinda brawling it out with no technique, no real runners there.
I'm all for movers. Malignaggi, Guzman, Mayweather. I enjoy watching them. But there's a way to move and then there's a way of avoiding an actual fight. And you can win that way, but you don't win in the bravest of ways.
Once again, for the 20th time, let me restate, I used the EXACT terms 'man and coward' as attention grabbers. Because 'win in an easier fashion or lose knowing you gave it your all' don't evoke the same emotions as the title you see here.

True, no one is a coward if they step in the ring. But, it's more for dramatic effect and lack of a better term.
Would you rather win like a coward, or lose like a man?
To make it an even tougher question, imagine that this is gonna be (whether you know it or not) the biggest fight of your entire career.
Vote. Discuss.

I get the impression this thread has some angle or is a dig at someone in particular.
I voted win, you win any way possible IMO.
I hate to lose at anything even if i have done well trying.

How does it make you more of a man to lose, if you can fight a different way and win. Is SRL a ***** for not standing against Haggler? You put the argument this way and this is how it is talked about on the forum so I think you worded it fine.
Also please clear up one thing for me are we talking about a single fight were you migiht just want to escape with a W and move on. Or what you base your whole career on, because if you base your whole career on a non crowd pleasing style your really not going to have a good careeer unless your among the best in the sport and even then it will take you years longer to get recognition.

LOL. with his chin, McCall could have conceivably run around with his hands down, crying for 12 rds against Lewis. But he couldnt have gone out on his shield either because he can take a shot. Oh Oliver..he lost like a coward. Or more than likely a man with serious mental and drug issues.
