Beating Cintron isn't gonna convince me that he can do anything against Cotto. That's the weak link puerto rican.

This is the perfect fight for Cotto to show off his versatility and box this guys head off. I've been a long time critic of Cotto but he won me over the way he countered Mosley in that fight. I picked Mosley to win easy and I was suprised just how much Cotto landed on him. Fighting Margarito is actually stepping a level down from Mosley. I look forward to Cotto getting rid of that clown.

I'd believe you if there weren't indications of flaws and weaknesses in all of his recent wins, R1. I'm looking at all of this with genuine impartiality believe it or not. The job is just waiting to be done on Cotto. The only problem has been there hasn't been a complete performance by anyone in a position to do it.

Mosley for example, could have collapsed on Cotto much sooner in the fight and the whole thing would have looked like the 9th round onward with Cotto backpeddling and reeling from attack. Cotto wasn't hurt in those late rounds - he just couldn't stand being pressured and he doesn't take a good punch especially well. Mosley had Cotto buzzed several times earlier in the fight, but decided to do nothing about it but dance away for whatever reason.

Margarito isn't just going to win. He's going to decimate Cotto.

But what's your take, R1? How do you see it?
