I said Holmes of those choices. He was surgical with his jab.

I was gonna pick Sonny Liston until I stumbled upon a .gif that had Ali dodging all of his jabs so I went with Larry Holmes.

Probably Holmes but it is difficult to compare jabs across weights. I've always felt that at HW the jab is so much more important than other divs. At that weight the jab can do serious damage, recently wlad all but KOd austin with jabs and Toney got knocked down by Peter's average jab.

I liked Brunos jab back in the day, was like a poleaxe. Also was interesting to see Taylor get mostly beaten to the jab by slow kelly pavlik during their first fight.

Larry Holmes, but you had to through Quartey in there, need I leave my baisedness at the door? Quartey was a bad man with that jab. Wlads got a nice Jab to.
but if you ask me Holmes wins this one ONLINE only in my heart its Ike.

Narrowing down to just one is too hard.

So many great jabs throughout history:

Hagler, Hearns, Holmes, Ali, Quartey, Whitaker, Liston, Lewis, etc...

To be fair Liston had slowened down quite a bit by that time (made to look even slower because of Ali's speed) but he did manage to tag Ali with some powerful jabs.

The middle rounds of the first Liston vs Ali fight, Ali hurts Liston early in the third but Liston comes back at the end of the round.
Hell, that left hook at 2:15 would've probably knocked out most of the boxers not named Ali out cold flat on their back.

Liston in his prime 6 years earlier.
