I would be extremely pist. Unless of course he fought PBF or DLH other then that he has no one else to face other then marg right now. Unless......im thinking crazy right now...Mosley asks for a rematch and gives up a good amount of money. But even then I would still want Cotto to face Marg then if he wants to face Mosley.

Depending on the circumstances really, if he dont sign and has some oh it dont make buisness sense **** to say then he will drop a bit in my opinion but i see the fight happening so its academic

Its obvious NSB would criticize. Mostly the Floyd boys who want to be able to say Cotto ducks fights too. But outside of that if Cotto doesn't take the fight who cares. As long as he ends up in another decent fight that isn't a one sided piñata beating like it was with Gomez I won't care.

I agree. Most (myself included) would rather see Cotto vs. Mayweather. Although, Cotto vs. Margarito is a great fight. But if Cotto pulled out of the Margarito fight to fight Mayweather, how could you blame him? It is the better fight for boxing IMO and we've all been foaming at the mouth for Cotto vs. Mayweather for years now.

1. Am I wrong? Who would be most critical of Cotto? His own fans or the likes of Burner and Horus? They would have a field day with that **** why - because there favorite fighter always gets knocked for doing the same.

2. Yes - a decent fight - because outside of Tony who else is there for Miguel Cotto to **** up? Your boy Floyd who wants no part of Miguel Cotto because he is shook and rightfully so. What fights are there for Miguel Cotto right now aside from Tony or Floyd? Don't say a Shane rematch because nobody would want to see that ****. Don't say a rematch period. Cotto is a machine, he'll fight anyone. No question this fight will happen; the hold-up is a pain but they'll make it happen

Unless a miracle happens and Cotto vs Mayweather is set for September, Cotto will still fight Margarito in July.

People come up with excuses why a contract isn't signed or why the long hold out. Nobody knows man. Cotto ain't duckin anyone. He asked for the fight last year and Tony turned it down. Now that Cotto is a bigger name does it surprise you he jumped up to fight Cotto now (I notice a lot of Marg fans dodge that statement)?

I don't see Floyd taking a Cotto fight just yet. Margarito is the only dude there to fight and I can't wait to see it. The fight will happen...patience people.
